Zero Waste Cycling Event

The cycling event was organized by Native Green Foundation in association with Samayu in Chandigarh, India on 16th October 2022 to promote pollution free mode of transportation and a healthy lifestyle. The event also had a section where participants were involved in ‘plogging’ (waste collection while walking or jogging). The participants collected waste material from the surrounding and dumped the waste in proper waste disposal area. This was done to promote a sense of responsibility towards environmental cleanliness.. During the event a total of 169 individuals participated in the event.
