The Native Green Foundation came into existence with the goal of creating a better world.
In 2021, a group of individuals from various professional backgrounds, having the same passion for doing something for the world, came together to form the Native Green Foundation. Guwahati, a city in the state of Assam in India, is the hometown of the Native Green Foundation. A simple goal was set, that is, to create a cleaner, greener, and healthier environment. During its initial years, the Native Green Foundation aimed to only work for the betterment of the environment. However, as the time went by, the interdependence of various other factors affecting the environment was found to be significant and needed to be addressed. Therefore, along with the environment, the organisation also expanded its focus areas to health, education, science, road safety, transportation, sports, art, culture, and so on, which forms the present-day working foundation of the Native Green Foundation.
